8 de may. de 2024 · Look at how cinematographer Otto Heller employs color; consider how screenwriter Leo Marks uses the blind Mrs. Stephens ( Maxine Audley) as a foil for consummate watcher Mark (Boehm). Don’t they feel somewhat lurid? Immensely clever and appropriate, yes, but lurid nevertheless. Peeping Tom is like no other.
Hace 1 día · Maxine Audley got the part. She also inherited Pamela’s sweaters and filled them nicely. She was a powerful addition to the cast. I had seen and admired Maxine in Larry’s production of ‘Titus Andronicus.’ She played the Queen of the Amazons and was a veritable queen. Next came Brenda Bruce, an old friend of Pamela’s of long standing.
