Given the start of his career wasn’t supposed to happen either, then maybe that’s just fine. 18 years on from that explosion on Jools Holland Seasick Steve remains a captivating and interesting artist. Rating 7.5/10.

And right there, as the swamp infested Creedence-infused tune “Move to the Country” grinds into third gear, it’s clear this guy is for real.
