  1. The site is run by a layman named Justin Marler. I am writing this post to ask - is it normal for lay people to be doing stuff like this? As far as I can tell, Mr. Marler has no clerical oversight or accountability. It is my understanding that the blessing and permission from a canonical priest or bishop is necessary for public layteaching.
