I've learned to appreciate drinking dreams in a weird kind of way. I accept and embrace them. They're nice little reminders of how embarrassed and ashamed I'd be if I ever relapsed, without actually relapsing.. Yeah, they suck while you're still in them, and all that embarrassment and shame feels real.

And I relate to your dreams. I rarely dream about having drank myself. I always dream my dad has relapses, he was at his rock bottom almost five years ago and is amazingly healthy and happy now. I'm more scared of him going back to drinking than I am for myself. It hit me after one of those dreams that I NEVER want my son to have a dream like that.
