Hace 1 día · Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964) was Robert Aldrich's follow-up to What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?. Aldrich planned to reunite Davis and Crawford, but the latter withdrew allegedly due to illness soon after filming began. She was replaced by Olivia de Havilland.

I’m a big fan of black and white movies like Night of the Hunter, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, The Miracle Worker, A Streetcar Named Desire, Cape Fear, and To Kill A Mockingbird, and I know there are probably some Noir Thriller / Southern Gothic crossover pictures or Dramas set in the deep American South I’ve overlooked.
