Public Image Ltd (also known as Public Image Limited or sometimes abbreviated to PIL) are an English post-punk band formed by John Lydon (former lead singer of punk band Sex Pistols) in May 1978 consisting of singer John Lydon, guitarist Keith Levene, bassist Jah Wobble, and drummer Jim Walker.
