Hace 3 días · In 1981, blues shouter Roy Brown died in Los Angeles of a heart attack. He was 55. In 1947, Brown wrote and recorded "Good Rocking Tonight," which became a R&B hit the following year. Elvis Presley recorded the song in 1954 and also had a hit with it. Such blues singers as B.B. King and Bobby "Blue" Bland have cited Roy Brown as a major influence.
