Not only did he play a major role in many of our favorite Beatles song moments, but anything cool that was happening in London in the 60s, Martin seemed to be in the room. For me, it may be how he coined the term “flanging” while explaining to John how to create a chorus effect by pressing on a tape reel flange to modulate its speed.
