Arborescence was the fifth studio release by the empyrean instrumental British ensemble Ozric Tentacles. Released thirty years ago in 1994, it was their last studio album to feature keyboardist and original member Joie Hinton as well as drummer Merv Pepler.
15 de may. de 2024 · Ach, die Ozric Tentacles gibt es also auch noch. Fast fünf Jahre ward von der Band nichts mehr gehört, zumindest in tonträgertechnischer Hinsicht. Wenn ich mir die Besetzungsangaben des im Herbst 2020 erschienenen "Space for the Earth" so ansehe, scheint das Projekt auch nicht mehr eine Band zu sein, eher eine Soloangelegenheit von Ed Wynne mit Gästen.

19 de may. de 2024 · Rezensionen Von: Kristian Selm Das Problem ein Album von Ozric Tentacles ungehört zu kaufen, barg bisher nur ein geringes Risiko. Eigentlich wusste man schon im vorhinein ganz genau was einen erwartet: instrumentaler Space Rock mit treibenden Gitarren, blubbernden Synthesizersequenzen und Anleihen im Ethnobereich.
