He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 2015, and in the Blues Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2016.

The song is credited to Elvin Bishop, appearing on his 1975 album, Struttin’ My Stuff . However, Bishop is NOT the vocalist. The talented Mickey Thomas, who sang in Bishop’s band, brings the gem to life.
