17 de may. de 2024 · El Rayo‑X — David Lindley. I found out about David Lindley through liner notes from Jackson Browne’s live album Running on Empty. He sang the chorus on “Stay” in a very interesting falsetto and played many instruments. Lindley worked as a studio musician for Browne and others quite a bit in the Los Angeles area.
Hace 5 días · David Lindley その1 El Rayo-X : アナログレコード巡礼の旅. デビッドリンドレーが亡くなって1年ちょっと。 本来はもっと早く記事にするつもりでしたが、訃報を聞いて記事が書けなくなり、ようやく紹介することにしました。 リンドレーとの出会いはやっぱジャクソンブラウン。 アルバム「孤独なランナー」の最終曲「ステイ」でのジャクソン、ローズマリーバトラーに続く3番目に歌う変な声のボーカルが初めて。 その後初期のジャクソンを聴くに従い、スライドギターの音の虜になっていきました。 特に名盤「レイトフォーザスカイ」での名演。
