14 de may. de 2024 · That same summer on ‘75, the airwaves were burning up with David Bowie’s “Young Americans,” which showcased Sanborn’s signature alto sax licks. Right on the heels of that release came the Brecker Brothers self-titled debut, which featured Sanborn’s alto alongside Michael Brecker’s tenor sax and Randy Brecker’s trumpet.

He was 78 years old. His death was announced on his Facebook page, which stated that the cause was complications from prostate cancer.
