• 42 min. ago. Too early to judge on looks alone. Look for developing saddle feathers, large and colored wattle/comb, and noticeably dominant behavior. Also, crowing (though sometimes hens will crow too, usually if there are no roosters). Sometimes you can just 'tell' even when they're really young, but it's an intuition thing.
