27 de may. de 2024 · Barry Dransfield was the violinist (doubling on guitar later), trained in folk fiddle style by Irish musicians in the area around Leeds, while Robin played acoustic guitar. Both of them sang, Barry Dransfield keeping his voice in the mix by holding the violin across his chest as he played.

Jim and Sylvia Barnes sang Wild Roving No More in 1979 with their group Kentigern and in 1985 with their trio Scotch Measure ; both eponymous albums were released on the Topic label.

This track was also included in 1997 on their Free Reed anthology Up to Now . An early live recording by Robin Dransfield from the Medway Folk Centre on 14 November 1972 was included in 2008 on his CD A Lighter Touch .
