Hace 1 día · Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle had been a performer for a long time. As a teenager, Arbuckle travelled the West Coast on the Vaudeville circuit. In 1913, at 26, Arbuckle hit the big time when Mack Sennett's Keystone Film Company signed him, and he became one of the Keystone Kops.

Fascinated with the technical aspects and creative possibilities of the movie medium, Keaton went to work for Arbuckle as a supporting player at a weekly salary of $40.
