Hace 18 horas · In January 1943, enemy forces captured Colonel Stirling in Tunisia and Paddy Mayne replaced him as commander. A few months later, in April, they reorganised it into the Special Raiding Squadron and undertook raids in Sicily and Italy alongside the 2nd Special Air Service, which came into existence in May 1943 in Algeria.
