Thoughts on the international pilot. *Frank Silva's performance was surreal to say the least, after becoming used to the badass supernatural version of Bob. It was kinda cheesy tbh. I'm glad it was never used. *I like how Lynch found a way to reuse several aspects of it, like the "death bag" speech (delivered infinitely better by Ray Wise).

Interestingly, Silva was not a professional actor, but rather a real-life resident of Martha's Vineyard, where the movie was filmed. Director Steven Spielberg spotted Silva working as a handyman and offered him the role on the spot.
