  2. Almost all the most prolific serial killers in the US seem to be from the 50s-90s, the 70s seemed to be the most violent. I haven't really heard of any serial killers post-2000. Don't get wrong, I'm sure there have been some, but it's bizarre that I suddenly stopped hearing about them.
