  1. 17 de jul. de 2024 · Johann Franz Encke (* 23. September 1791 in Hamburg; † 26. August 1865 in Spandau bei Berlin) war ein deutscher Astronom.

  2. Hace 3 días · The Encke Gap is a 325-km (200 mile) wide gap within the A ring, centered at a distance of 133,590 km (83,000 miles) from Saturn's center. It is caused by the presence of the small moon Pan, which orbits within it. Images from the Cassini probe have shown that there are at least three thin, knotted ringlets within the gap.

  3. 8 de jul. de 2024 · Encke's method. Greatly exaggerated here, the small difference δr (blue) between the osculating, unperturbed orbit (black) and the perturbed orbit (red), is numerically integrated starting from the initial position (the epoch of osculation).

  4. 2 de jul. de 2024 · Imagen del cometa 12P/Pons-Brooks , tomada el 09 de junio de 2024, desde Yass, North South Wales (Australia). Foto: Tel Lekatsas *. Reporte. El 2 de junio tuvo lugar la máxima aproximación a la Tierra del cometa 12P/Pons-Brooks a una distancia de 1.55 UA, tenía entonces un brillo entre la magnitud 6 y la 6.5.

  5. Hace 3 días · The first provisional orbit was computed in June by Johann Karl Burckhardt. Based on these calculations, Heinrich Wilhelm Matthäus Olbers made a prediction that the comet would go on to become extremely bright later that year.

  6. 19 de jul. de 2024 · The German astronomer Johann Encke was the second person to recognize a periodic comet. He determined that a comet discovered by French astronomer Jean-Louis Pons in 1818 did not seem to follow a parabolic orbit. He found that the orbit was indeed a closed ellipse.

  7. Hace 2 días · The Chinese remainder theorem is a theorem which gives a unique solution to simultaneous linear congruences with coprime moduli. In its basic form, the Chinese remainder theorem will determine a number p p that, when divided by some given divisors, leaves given remainders.
