He also co-wrote Band Aid's huge single "Do They Know It's Christmas (Feed the World)" and helped organize Live Aid with Bob Geldof. Oh, and he's done quite a bit of solo work, to boot!

His career started in the 1970’s with the boy band, Slik, followed by Rich Kids through to Visage and Ultravox and a thriving solo career. That's even without mentioning the historic work he's done for Band Aid & Live Aid in the 80’s.
