The song is known for its haunting melody and Steve Winwood’s falsetto vocals. The line “And I’m wasted and I can’t find my way home” has become iconic in the world of rock music.

Hace 5 días · In 1969 Clapton and Baker formed the group Blind Faith with keyboardist-vocalist Steve Winwood and bassist Rick Grech, but the group broke up after recording only one album. Clapton emerged as a capable vocalist on his first solo album, which was released in 1970.

Check out a cover by the Swans, not your typical Swans song. Jarboe sings it. I first heard this in some movie. I had no idea who it was. Never bothered to find out the movie, but I certainly found out what this song was 😁. Most excellent choice of music. My uncle would play this stuff religiously.
