23 de jun. de 2024 · Thomas Richard Fogerty (November 9, 1941 – September 6, 1990) was an American musician, best known as the rhythm guitarist for Creedence Clearwater Revival. He was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
Hace 13 horas · Fogerty and his brother Tom Fogerty co-founded CCR in 1966. The band achieved significant success, releasing nine top-10 singles and eight gold albums between 1968 and 1972. Fogerty’s solo career includes the release of Centerfield in 1985, which marked his return to the music scene after a long hiatus, and Blue Moon Swamp in 1997, which won the Grammy for Best Rock Album.
22 de jun. de 2024 · As mentioned, Tom would embark on a solo career with his first album charting at #78 which is the best he would do. I did hear Tom in an interview say that had he been able to do things over, he would not have left the band. John did contribute some guitar tracks on Tom’s Zephyr National (1974).
