23 de may. de 2024 · The first, built in 1662–3 on the site of a riding yard between Brydges (now Catherine) Street and Drury Lane, was burnt down in 1671/2. The second theatre, the design of which is usually attributed to Sir Christopher Wren, was built on the same site and opened in 1674.
