Hace 6 días · Olias of Sunhillow is not as visceral or as muscular as a Yes album, and that is for the very good reason that Jon Anderson, for all his multitracked multi-tasking on Olias, simply can't play his instruments as well as Steve Howe or Rick Wakeman can.

I feel the song writing is really top notch but it suffers somewhat due to a thin sound and a heavier reliance on synths - but this was the sound folks were going for in 1982 and Jon was being "current".

The song was part of Anderson’s solo album titled “Olias of Sunhillow,” which he released in 1976. Anderson has always been known for his mystic and spiritual lyrics, and “Deborah” was no exception.
