It's clear by the way John interacts with and talks to Yoko that he's not being mindlessly manipulated. They were obviously in love and people seem to interpret his horrible treatment of Cynthia and Julian as "Yoko manipulated John" which doesn't make any sense Also, I genuinely love that in 2007 Yoko Ono made an album called "Yes, I'm a Witch."
