24 de may. de 2024 · Arlo Guthrie (born July 10, 1947, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.) is an American folk singer and songwriter best known for his humorous 18-minute talking song “ Alice’s Restaurant Massacree” (1967), which tells the essentially true story of how Guthrie’s arrest for littering gave him a criminal record that made him ineligible for the military draft during the Vietnam War.

The exhibit contains memorabilia from Arlo Guthrie’s career, including handwritten lyrics, photographs, correspondence with musicians such as Pete Seeger, and shirts worn on album covers.
