Pomona College has made its test-optional policy permanent for students applying for first-year and transfer admission. Under this policy, SAT or ACT scores are not required to apply but students may choose to self-report them on their applications. Pomona College will accept scores from the new Electronic SAT.

Study Away: Pomona College offers 69 programs in 39 countries. Approximately half of Pomona College students participate in an off-campus study program before graduating.

So even though our small classes (averaging 13), strength across the curriculum (with 48 majors) and tight-knit residential life (4 years guaranteed housing) might seem common, Pomona College is unique.
