Robert Rauschenberg fue uno de los artistas que vivió esa tensa transición entre el expresionismo abstracto y el Pop-Art. Robert Milton Ernest Rauschenberg, né le 22 octobre 1925 à Port Arthur, Texas, et mort le 12 mai 2008 à Captiva, Floride, est un artiste plasticien américain. The most fitting example is his 1961 portrait of Iris Clert, made for an exhibition at her gallery in Paris, which consisted of a telegram that stated: "This is a portrait of Iris Clert if I say so/ Robert Rauschenberg."
