Museum of Star Trek collectibles, home-built exhibits, and occasional artifacts. Purchase vials of "Kirk Dirt" from his future birth spot; see the high-tech time capsule to be opened on his future birthday. Photo-op Starship Enterprise is usually parked out front.
Ainsworth Bus and Elementary Riverside Town Stops will load at 3:10 p.m. ( 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.) Students walking home will be dismissed as soon as the Ainsworth Bus leaves, approximately 3:15p.m. (2 :10 p.m. on Wednesday) and will leave school grounds immediately.
Riverside has taken advantage of the birthplace and set up an interesting little museum. There's a replica of the Enterprise parked outside. Inside, quite a bit of Star Trek memorabilia, including the bridge of the Enterprise, a great photo-op. Unless you're a Trekkie, not a must-see, but fun if you're nearby.
