Su padre trabaja para National Geographic y, desde hace unos meses, se dedica a enseñarle los rudimentos técnicos de la disciplina.. No se trata en absoluto de deformación profesional. Aaron Huey afirma incluso que le da lo mismo si Hawkeye (ojo de águila) termina dedicándose o no a la fotografía.
