Amanda Clarke, formerly known by the pseudonym Emily Thorne (also known as Emily Grayson), is a fictional character and the protagonist of the ABC television series Revenge (2011–2015), portrayed by Emily VanCamp, based on Edmond Dantès, the titular protagonist of Alexandre Dumas' 1844 novel The Count of Monte Cristo.
Amanda Porter née Clarke (formerly Emily Grayson and as an alias Emily Thorne) is the protagonist of Revenge. Amanda is the daughter of the Clarke family, having lived in the Hamptons in 1992.
