Le Week-End is a story about a married couple of 30 years taking a trip to Paris to rekindle their love and romance for each other, and things not going the way they hoped. Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan have excellent on-screen chemistry which drives the plot forward, it’s not quite as uplifting as I’d hoped, but it feels real, and I give it props for that.
