Scarface got his name after a territorial fight in 2012. Scar’s eye got injured during the dispute (which Scarface won alongside his brothers Morani, Hunter, and Sikio). Unfortunately, Scarface died on June 11, 2021.

Scarface the Lion was a sought-after lion who lived in the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya for many years. It is not clear exactly when the lion was born, but it is believed that he was born either in the late 1990s or early 2000s. Regardless of his exact birthdate, Scarface became the dominant male of the Marsh Pride in the late 1990s.
