  1. I love Suzanne Wright, however I’ve only ever read her paranormal romance, never her contemporary work. I can’t believe I didn’t try it before because this book was superb. I had all of the world building, character building and plot construction her other works had, just no shifters, vampires or demons.

  4. 13 de oct. de 2020 · I ended up finishing it at 2am because I was completely captivated! Which is surprising because I didn't have much luck with Suzanne Wright's Phoenix Pack series. However, this time round, I was completely enthralled by Vienna and Dane's story. The Favor had all my favorite tropes: age gap, fake relationship and marriage of convenience.

  5. And seriously, Suzanne Wright's characters have the worst luck with breaking and entering. Her books are like the epicentre of break in crime in the fictional book world. Another pet peeve - there are the token dialogues thrown into the story to spell out the story, what happened and break down of the perpetrator's motives that also imply the readers is stupid and not able to piece the plot ...
