Albert Finney (9 May 1936 – 7 February 2019) was a British actor. His career lasted 60 years. Finney was mostly known for his role in Tom Jones, for his role as Hercule Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express and for his role as Edward Bloom in Big Fish.
Wonderful, wildly talented actor, Albert Finney is certainly in the discussion of finest actors of all time. Finney's performances are consistently excellent with never a false note. Leben. Albert Finney besuchte die Salford Grammar School und studierte anschließend in London an der Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.Seinen ersten Auftritt hatte Finney am Birmingham Repertory Theatre. 1958 zog es ihn zurück nach London. 1959 spielte er bei der Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon klassische Rollen in den Shakespeare-Stücken Sommernachtstraum, Othello und König Lear.
