Aerosmith, who were known as Chain Reaction at the time, were huge fans of The Yardbirds and landed a gig opening for them at a 1966 show in Connecticut. The Yardbirds played "Train Kept A-Rollin'" at that show, and Steven Tyler watched from the edge of the stage.
