  3. 11 de nov. de 2010 · On July 20th Crippen and Ethel sailed from Antwerp for Canada on the liner Montrose. He called himself Robinson and Ethel posed as his teenage son, but they behaved too lovingly and the captain grew suspicious and informed the ship’s owners by telegraph.

  4. As soon as the Montrose entered the St Lawrence River, the British bobby boarded the ship, disguised as a river pilot. Dr Crippen and Ethel Le Neve were arrested on 31st July 1910, and brought back to England to face trial for the murder of Cora Crippen.
