21 de feb. de 2023 · De Killing Fields vormen een bewijs van de gruweldaden die ooit in Cambodja afspeelde. Deze plek, ook wel Choeung Ek genoemd, was ooit de plek waar de Rode Khmer onder leiding van Pol Pot de gevangene van de Tuol Sleng (S21) gevangenis doodde. Tussen 1975 en 1978 werden hier 17.000 (!) vrouwen, kinderen en baby’s gemarteld en gedood.
