Pablo Vierci (7 July 1950) is a Uruguayan journalist, author and screenwriter. He grew up with many of the people who were involved in the 1972 crash in the Andes mountains, and worked with survivors on his 2009 non-fiction book La Sociedad de la Nieve.

Pablo Vierci nació en Montevideo, en 1950. Su primera novela, Los tramoyistas (1979), se tradujo al portugués (Os trampolineiros, 1983) y al inglés (The imposters, 1987). Pablo Vierci (Montevideo, 7 de juliol de 1950)és un escriptor, periodista i guionista uruguaià.. Ha escrit 12 llibres, a més de guions per a documentals i llargmetratges. Va obtenir el segon Premi Nacional de Literatura de l'Uruguai en 1987 i 2004. El seu primer llibre Los tramoyistas va ser publicat en 1979 i es va traduir al portuguès i anglès, i va ser reeditat l'any 2000.
