2019–present. On June 5, 2019, Firefox unveiled their new browser logo which was made official on October 22 after the release of version 70. Community content is available under CC-BY-SA unless otherwise noted. From 2002 to 2004, the browser was known as Phoenix from version 0.1 to version 0.5, and Firebird from version 0.6 to version 0.7.

The pointed ends of the ears and nose softened slightly. The globe was repainted in a bluish-blue color and acquired a barely noticeable glowing halo.
The logo used to feature a red panda in orange that encircled a blue circle, which represented the Earth. These complementary colors worked well together and helped to convey Firefox’s message that Firefox is everywhere that you use the web. For the recent logo that Firefox uses today, new colors were introduced.
