I thought it was a perfect portrayal. But even if it had been garbage, it's all worth it for her Scream 4 premiere look cuz goddamn. Rebecca is a massive cartoon and truly super annoying. Not sure how much of that is Alison Brie’s fault, though. Her performance is impossibly OTT, but so is the writing which I think is the main issue.
Rebecca Walters from Scream 4 is the most underrated character in the entire franchise. Alison Brie's performance is excellent. Rebecca is obviously supposed to be the new Gale in this one in the same way that Jill is supposed to be the new Sidney. Alison plays the bitchy role so well. She's genuinely believable as a bitch.
