Jim Dine (James Dine, Cincinnati, 16 de junio de 1935) es un pintor estadounidense. Su primer contacto con el arte lo constituyeron las visitas realizadas al museo de su ciudad. Tras la muerte de su madre, y cuando vivía con sus abuelos maternos, el joven Jim se inscribió en las clases nocturnas de la Yeison Art Academy.
Jim Dine, né le 16 juin 1935 à Cincinnati dans l'Ohio, est un artiste américain, représentant du pop art, bien qu'il se considère comme lié à tort à ce mouvement [1]. Peintre, sculpteur, graveur, illustrateur et poète, on le considère parfois comme faisant partie du mouvement Neo-Dada.

Dine's work includes painting, drawing, printmaking (in many forms including lithographs, etchings, gravure, intaglio, woodcuts, letterpress and linocuts), sculpture and photography; his early works encompassed assemblage and happenings, while in recent years his poetry output, both in publications and readings, has increased.
