Richard Rogers (1933-2021) is best known for such pioneering buildings as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the headquarters for Lloyd’s of London, the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and the Millennium Dome in London. His practice—Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners (RSHP)—was founded in 1977, and has offices in London, Barcelona, Madrid and Tokyo.
