My family had good times and rough times, but we also always had community and strong public services when we needed them. I worked in big business and as an entrepreneur. And for 11 years, I got to be the Mayor of my hometown.

Basically all the others, and there’s five I’ve mentioned, are NDP members- some for decades, in comes Naheed Nenshi, who was not an NDP member. In fact, in the election last year in 2023, he grudgingly gave his support to the NDP. He calls himself nonpartisan.
