Brody Dalle en concert avec Spinnerette. Après la séparation de The Distillers, Dalle commence à travailler sur un nouveau projet, Spinnerette. Le groupe Spinnerette est constitué de Brody Dalle au chant, du multi-instrumentiste Alain Johannes, de Tony Bevilacqua à la guitare et de Jack Irons à la batterie.
Biografie. Bree Robinson (der Künstlername Brody Dalle ist der Schauspielerin Béatrice Dalle entlehnt) begann mit etwa 12 Jahren Gitarre zu spielen und gründete mit 13 Jahren eine Band. Später schloss sie sich der australischen Alternative-Band Sourpuss an und spielte mit ihr, im Alter von 16 Jahren, an der Seite der Beastie Boys und Sonic Youth beim Australia’s Somersault Festival.

Brody Dalle (Bree Joanna Alice Robinson, Fitzroy, Melbourne, Australië, 1 januari 1979) was de zangeres, songwriter en gitariste van de punkband The Distillers.Tegenwoordig zingt ze met haar nieuwe punkband Spinnerette, die ze heeft opgericht in 2007. Brody was 16 toen ze Tim Armstrong, zanger van de punkband Rancid leerde kennen. Een paar weken na haar achttiende verjaardag trouwde ze met hem.
