JINU (WINNER) Facts. He was born in Yeongam but was raised in Mokpo. Before auditioning for YG Entertainment, he took vocal and dance classes at Joy Dance & Plug In Music Academy in Mokpo. JINU became a YG Entertainment trainee in 2010 and made his debut as a member of WINNER in 2014. He released his debut solo single, JINU’s HEYDAY, in 2019.
