The recordings were of an impromptu jam session between Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash. The jam session seems to have happened by pure chance.

Fortunately, a man named Jack Clement had the presence of mind to press record, and this incredible moment was captured forever. Here's the story of how it all happened.
