The Substitute 4: Failure Is Not An Option is a 2001 action film. It stars Treat Williams once again as Karl Thomasson, A former mercenary who must infiltrate a military school's faculty to stop the actions of a white supremacist cult. The film is fourth and final installment in The Substitute series and was released direct-to-video.
"Failure is not an option" is a phrase associated with NASA Flight Director Gene Kranz and the Apollo 13 Moon landing mission. Although Kranz is often attributed with having spoken those words during the mission, he did not.
