Musím uznat, že mexické filmy posledních cca 10 let (nebo alespoň ty, co jsem viděl) si drží velmi vysokou úroveň. Také Amores Perros se řadí určitě mezi to povedenější, byť je zde skutečně (jak mnozí zde podotýkají) vidět mírná nevyrovnanost jednotlivých dějových linií (neodvažuji se je nazvat povídkami, protože je zde evidentní provázanost děje).
