The Rebound is a 2009 American romantic comedy film written and directed by Bart Freundlich, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Justin Bartha.It was released in theaters in several countries in late 2009. It was originally scheduled to be released in the United States on 25 December 2010, but was cancelled due to the film's distributor shutting down.
Upon discovering her husband's infidelity, Sandy (Catherine Zeta-Jones)and her two kids move from the suburbs to pursue a new life in the big city. It's there that she meets Aram (Justin Bartha). The two strike up a friendship which eventually evolves into something more. But it isn't long before they're faced with the big question, "is this real or just a rebound?"
